Time is what I seem to have been short on all week ... so I apologize for not posting my Math Challenge news earlier.
I did have time on Monday though to announce the Math Champs, for the last challenge, during our MMM which was nice. Here are the results:
Primary Champ - Elias in Ms. Shaw's classroom
Intermediate Champ - Cameron in Mr. Bailey's classroom
(Cameron informed me that Elias is his reading buddy so their names must have been connected to each other in my official ballot jar.)
Primary Classroom - Ms. Shaw by a LANDSLIDE!
Intermediate Classroom - Ms. Hunter (breaking a 3 way tie by 1 entry)!
The "onlys" - Skylar and Jack G in Mr. Liner's class; Felix in Ms. Thibault's class, and Brian in Ms. Brown's class.
As usual, I had a blast looking through everyone's entries. I swear the kids are getting more creative, braver with their thinking, and personalizing the challenges more. Please take the time (preferably with your children as well) to look through the pictures below. They represent different ways to approaching and solving the same problems:

And this one ... Possibly my favorite challenge entry this week!
And speaking of TIME ... Math Challenges #8 are all focused on time. They are ready and waiting for you to solve them here.
Thank you for all of your hard work and support.
Have a great weekend and Happy Mathing!
